Description: ‘Livin’ Easy’ is a hardy hybrid tea rose producing high-centered, fully double, vermilion flowers with glossy, mid-green leaves. Also sold in plant nurseries as Beauty Star or Frystar rose. In genral, roses are a large group of flowering shrubs, most with showy flowers that are single-petalled to fully double petalled. Leaves are typically medium to dark green, glossy, and ovate, with finely toothed edges. Vary in size from 1/2 inch to 6 inches, five petals to more than 30, and in nearly every color. Often the flowers are very fragrant. Most varieties grow on long canes that sometimes climb. Unfortunately, this favorite plant is quite susceptible to a variety of diseases and pests, many of which can be controlled with good cultural practices.
Description: The fire-engine-red double blooms of Rosa Double Knock Out keep coming until hard frost, and its new growth is a stunning burgundy red. Aptly named, this popular successor to Knock Out is fuller and more floriferous, producing clusters of 2 1/2in, incandescent blooms with 18-25 petals. A hardy variety naturally resistant to black spot and other diseases and pests. Own-root. ‘Radtko’ (PP 16,202).
Description: A maintenance free rose that continually produces self-cleaning, candy apple red flowers. Green foliage with blue and maroon highlights turning deep purple in fall. Unsurpassed resistance to black spot leaf disease. An excellent low hedge or accent. Winner of multiple awards including the 2000 All American Rose Selection and the Euroflora Rose Award, Gold Medal-Genova Italy. Deciduous.
